Sullivan: Obama’s the better candidate
Andrew Sullivan, a big Barrack Obama supporter, blogs the Financial Times endorsement of Obama today and tempers that with some of the most intellectual arguments critical of him. Between excepts, he adds:
He is not perfect; and not a savior. But he is the best thing to happen to the Democrats in a very long time, and sometimes it takes an outsider like the FT to see it.
Its a very concise, right on point post that documents where I am leaning at the moment as well. Most of the criticism that you read about Obama is unintelligible. Economically, he is as poor as the other two. I question who he has associated with and his caricature of a wife, but in a lesser-of-evils debate, he’s winning hands down.
Lesser of the two evils????? is that what politics has come down to??? Not the highest common multiple but the lowest common factor!
And with every passing week, I am not sure that he the lesser of the two evils either!
